It's Halloween! Oh...and Happy Samhain! Oh, and a day late; Feliz Dia de Los Muertos!
Umm...I can't think of other holidays, but the idiots here celebrate Beggar's Night (the day before Halloween) because it doesn't "go against their religion." If it's against your religion, why the hell are you changing the name and making it A DAY EARLIER. And they won't let their kids wear costumes because "Halloween is a pagan holiday." No, idiots, Samhain is. But they don't mind celebrating Easter (Ostar*...you know, with the Ostar* Hare). Let's see...other stolen holidays and ideas...hmm...Easter, Christmas (Jesus was born in the lambing season. That's SPRING, you idiots), Halloween...hmm...any I'm forgetting? Let's talk about other things that aren't holidays...like Jesus walking on water (Buddha did it 500 years earlier). Keep in mind, I do believe Jesus existed, but he was by no means a god. He was a Bodhisattva.
I apologize if any of this offended you. Feel free to send me any criticisms you have. We can have an INTELLECTUAL debate (no hate mail or "You're Wrong!" without FACTS to back it up (the bible isn't fact. It's a book written by man in the early Common Era that was spoken word since a little ways back in BCE times, meaning what was written was tall tales. Oh, and if you have an edited version (i.e., the King James version), that's been edited to someone's liking, so it's technically not supposed to be followed. Read the Torah** if you want the original).
*I don't know if I spelled it correctly.
**I may have used the wring term. I'm trying to refer to the Jewish holy book.
